Welcome to the J&S Market Report.
This is where we break down what’s actually happening in the car market: what’s selling, what’s sitting, what collectors are chasing, and what we’re actively looking for right now. From the cars on our showroom floor to the big-money sales happening around the industry, this is a real look at where the market is moving.
Every week, we’ll give you a mix of what we’re seeing firsthand at J&S, what buyers are calling about, and the deals that are getting everyone’s attention. Let’s get into it.
We Had 1,600 Customers Waiting for a Response
When we walked into the South Jersey store, there were 1,600 customers sitting in the system waiting for a response.
The store is super outdated. Plain and simple.
Good inventory, big showroom, good people, but the process is old, sloppy, and way too much is falling through the cracks. When you’ve got 1,600 people sitting there waiting, that’s not a lead problem. That’s a system problem.
So now we’re cleaning it up the right way: getting everybody on the CRM, tightening up follow-up, putting better training in place, and dragging the store out of the old-school nonsense.
You can’t run the business like it’s 1995 anymore.

Market Watch
The market doesn’t sit still for long. While everyone’s arguing over interest rates and inventory, some cars are quietly setting records and changing hands for serious money.
Here are a few deals from the past few weeks that caught our attention:
A LaFerrari Just Sold for $6.88 Million
A 2015 Ferrari LaFerrari just went for $6.88 million at the RM Sotheby’s Miami auction. Low miles, single owner, black on black: exactly the kind of spec collectors want.
What’s interesting is that 4 LaFerraris have sold for over $5M in just the last couple months, which tells you something about where the hypercar market is heading. The
The Carrera GT Market Is Going Crazy
A 2005 Porsche Carrara GT just sold for 3.3 million, setting a new model record at auction.
This car had just 603 miles and came with receipts for an $89k service, which tells you how serious collectors are about keeping these things perfect.
Ten years ago these were million-dollar cars. Now they’re triple that… and still climbing.
Manual Murciélagos Are Becoming Collector Cars
Manual Lamborghini Murciélagos are quietly turning into serious collector pieces.A Murciélago LP640 just sold for $686,700, which is a record for that version.
Not long ago these were $300K cars. Now everyone wants the same thing:
gated manual
V12
no hybrid nonsense
And the supply is tiny. Once collectors realize how few of these exist, the numbers start moving fast.
The Original Ford GT Is Quietly Taking Off
The 2005–2006 Ford GT is another car that collectors are starting to chase.
They built about 4,000 of them, which sounds like a lot until you realize how many are already locked away in collections.
Values have been climbing steadily, with appreciation rates close to 10% per year in some cases.
What We’re Looking For
Porsche GT series — especially 992.1 GT3 RSs, 991 GT2 RSs, and clean GT3s.
If you’ve got a new-body GT3 RS, definitely reach out. Bonus points if it’s got comfort. Everybody wants the hardcore race-car look, but a comfort-seat GT3 RS is the one you can actually live with.
SLS Black Series
It’s one of those modern collector cars that people are starting to lock away, which means the good ones barely hit the market anymore.
If you’ve got one of these and have even thought about selling it, hit us up. DM us anywhere or go to jsautohaus.com.
